MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the South Dakota Resources Coalition is preserving and enhancing our environment, protecting our natural resources, and encouraging citizens and businesses to adopt sound environmental practices.

OBJECTIVES

1. To gather and disseminate information pertaining to local, state, and national environmental issues and legislation.
2. To initiate and coordinate environmental programs and projects in the state.
3. To cooperate with and assist environmental and conservation groups in this and other states.
4. To promote and develop environmental education programs within the state.
5. To assist and encourage the business community to adopt sound environmental practices.
6. To remain non-partisan.
